Georgia Government Finance Officers Association recognizes Suzette Arnold

Institute of Government faculty member Suzette Arnold was recently honored at the annual conference for the Georgia Government Finance Officers Association (GGFOA). Arnold, who works with state, local and online training programs, received the President's Award For Outstanding Service at GGFOA’s annual conference. The award recognizes one member annually for leadership in and contribution to the GGFOA. Arnold is a Public Service Assistant in the Institute’s Governmental Training, Education, And Development unit. She joined the Institute in 2017 and previously served as grants and contracts director with the Georgia Department of Labor and the Fulton County government. Arnold has nearly 20 years of experience managing project-based teams in Georgia and New York and her areas of expertise include grant management, social service programs, community development and fiscal affairs.
