Technical College System of Georgia Achieves 9.3% Enrollment Growth

The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) announces a 9.3% increase in enrollment for the Academic Year 2024 (AY24), bringing total enrollment to 148,746 students across the system. This is the highest number of students enrolled at TCSG since 2013, a testament to the growing demand for skilled workers in Georgia and the increasing attractiveness of TCSG's career-focused college programs.
The rise in enrollment from AY23’s 136,114 students reflect the statewide focus by TCSG’s 22 colleges on workforce development and the critical role that technical education plays in supporting Georgia’s growing economy. Additionally, total credit hours saw a significant 10.6% increase, highlighting students’ commitment to advancing their skills through higher education.
