TCSG Foundation Donates $1.24 Million to Georgia’s 22 Technical College Foundations

The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) Foundation has donated a total of $1.24 million to the foundations supporting all 22 of Georgia’s technical colleges. The check presentation took place during the 2026 TCSG Leadership Conference in Savannah, bringing together college leaders, trustees, and foundation representatives from across the state.
More than $700,000 of the funding was raised at TCSG’s inaugural Pathways to Graduation gala, held in September at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta. The event brought together business, education, and community leaders in support of technical education to help more students overcome financial barriers and complete their education.
“Our college foundations play an important role in helping students stay on track and reach graduation,” said TCSG Commissioner Greg Dozier. “For a student facing financial hardship, help with tuition, books, or an unexpected expense can make the difference between staying in school and having to leave. This $1.24 million contribution will help our foundations provide that support to more students across Georgia.”
College foundations provide critical financial assistance to students in need, helping cover educational costs and everyday expenses that can put graduation out of reach. Through scholarships, emergency assistance, and other support, they help students manage financial challenges so they can focus on their education, earn their credentials, and enter the workforce.
“The response to our inaugural Pathways to Graduation gala showed how much our supporters believe in our students and their potential,” said Gary Sanchez, President of the TCSG Foundation. “Because of their generosity, we can put these dollars into the hands of our college foundations, where they can help students overcome financial obstacles and reach graduation.”
Local college foundations build relationships with individuals, businesses, and community partners to support students and advance their colleges’ missions. The contribution will strengthen those efforts throughout the TCSG system, extending the impact of the gala to communities across Georgia.
