Jekyll Reduces Budget to Adjust to COVID-19 Challenges

Rarely does a more than 50 percent drop in revenue in a month sound like good news. But when the drop could have been more than 60 percent, the news sounds almost positive.
Jekyll Island Authority staff anticipated worse revenue projections than they’re currently seeing materialize following months of business closures and reduced traffic on the island due to COVID-19.
