School Board Approves Technology Purchases, ESPLOST Resolution

The Glynn County Board of Education approved several technology purchases at its meeting Tuesday as well as a resolution that would allow the school district to go out for bonds for the recently approved ESPLOST.
Local voters approved Education Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (ESPLOST) IV in November, and the 1 percent sale tax is now being collected. The school board approved the ESPLOST resolution as a potential first step for collecting bonds.
