Hospice Satilla announces the opening of The James Carl Jones, Jr. Family Center. Mr. Jones was a businessman in the Waycross and surrounding counties. He was a staunch supporter of the community and always willing to guide, counsel and advise leaders and his family wanted to honor his legacy by helping others with their journey through grief.

The new 1,840 square foot facility has six individual offices, one large conference and education room, and a private counseling room named after a former Hospice Satilla patient. The new counseling center will offer many community programs including in-person grief support groups, grief education workshops, caregiver workshops and individual grief counseling.
