Secure Records Solutions is proud to announce the appointment of Christopher Powell Jones as the new President and CEO of the company. In his new role, Jones will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s operations, including setting and executing the company’s strategic direction, leading the executive team, and managing key growth initiatives.
Founder and Chief Secret Keeper Powell Jones said, “Christopher joining the business twelve years ago was a gamechanger in our growth trajectory. He’s proven himself in so many areas and has demonstrated a dedication to our team and a passion for this business.”
“Christopher has brought creativity, vision and excitement not only to Secure Records Solutions but to the industry as a whole,” Powell continues. “It’s been a joy to watch him grow over this last decade and to know that what we started twenty years ago has a passionate, young leader to carry it forward.”
As a graduate of Thomasville High School and The University of Georgia, Christopher previously worked as a financial advisor for Morgan Stanley. Since joining Secure Records Solutions in 2011, he has taken on increasingly complex roles involving all aspects of the company’s operations. Challenging trends in the industry are actually what first attracted Jones to the business. Over the past twelve years, Christopher has steered the business from a sole focus on storing paper records to helping clients eliminate paper and adopt digital solutions. His energetic and innovative approach to solving problems has led Secure Records Solutions into five new service lines and expanded the company’s footprint from 11 counties surrounding Thomasville to 49 states.
Jones is a past president and board member of the industry’s international association. In 2018, Christopher was elected President of PRISM International where he worked on the successful merger with the National Association of Information Destruction (NAID) to form I-SIGMA. Subsequently he served a two-year term as co-President of I-SIGMA. He’s served on the board for seven years, in addition to roles on various committees. He also serves as a board member of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce and President of the Camp Piney Woods board. He is a graduate of Georgia Forward’s Young Gamechangers, the Institute for Georgia Environmental Leadership (IGEL) and Leadership Tallahassee.
With his extensive experience and proven track record of service, Jones is poised to lead Secure Records Solutions into a new era of growth and success, while also upholding the company’s commitment to stewardship and excellence.
