The Tybee Island Marine Science Center is presenting several events during Shark Week. Replace fear with facts and discover the truth about sharks all week! Learn how to identify shark teeth, how scientists are researching and tracking sharks, and meet real sharks!

The Marine Science Center’s Shark Week: Replace Fear with Facts events are included in paid admission or membership. 

A highlight of the week is Shark Jaw at 6PM on Wednesday, July 12. Advance registration is required for Shark Jaw. At Shark Jaw, dive in and discover more about sharks! Explore the Marine Science Center’s Coastal Galleries after hours, learn more about this misinterpreted species with an in-depth presentation then meet our current shark residents in the new Sharks and Rays exhibit.
