Georgia is Fourth-Most "Luxury Jewelry-Obsessed" State

Georgia is the fourth-most “luxury-obsessed” state in the U.S according to a new study, according to the latest research by Liberty London.
New York, took the top spot, followed by California and Texas, to collate the findings, LibertyLondon.com began by establishing a list of keywords based on metals, gemstones, and styles of jewelry. They then examined search data from Google across US states, counting the number of times these terms were searched in each state.

The team defined ‘luxury’ as precious metals and gemstones, i.e. gold, platinum, diamond, emerald, sapphire, and ruby. They calculated a luxury score based on the average score of these materials, enabling them to differentiate between searches for items like 'rings' and 'luxury rings.'
