Mahmoud Elsaid, founder of Income Nerd commented on the findings: “Since the emergence of peer-to-peer e-commerce sites like Etsy, Poshmark, and Depop, these have become a popular way to create a side hustle using second-hand and vintage clothing. As anti ‘fast fashion’ sentiment also grows, seeking a secondary income through the sale of used clothing, or even pursuing a full-time business in the area, is an increasingly smart move for entrepreneurs.
“The ability to spot such business opportunities is a greatly useful entrepreneurial trait, and identifying the places in the country where these platforms might be best utilized could be crucial to such a business opportunity.”
