Southeast Georgia Health System is pleased to announce that Southeast Georgia Physician Associates–Neurosurgery is now offering neurosurgery consultations in Jesup, Georgia, increasing access to expert neurosurgical care for residents of Wayne County and surrounding communities.

Chelsea Lyons, PA-C, a board-certified physician assistant, will lead the consultations at the Jesup practice, located at 114 W. Cherry Street. Lyons joined Southeast Georgia Physician Associates-Neurosurgery in 2023, after earning her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Presbyterian College. She has a diverse clinical background, having completed rotations in general surgery, emergency medicine, family medicine and internal medicine, with hands-on experience in surgical assisting, patient care and various procedural skills.

Lyons brings her clinical expertise and compassionate care to the Jesup community, offering patients a convenient option for neurosurgery consultations closer to home.

All neurosurgical procedures will continue to be performed at the Southeast Georgia Health System Brunswick Campus by board-certified neurosurgeons T. Ryan Owens, MD and Justin S. Whitlow, MD, who specialize in advanced surgical care and treatment of complex neurological conditions.
