Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Declares September “Georgia Grown Apple Month"

Today, Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tyler J Harper signed a proclamation officially declaring September 2025 as “Georgia Grown Apple Month.” To celebrate the beginning of Georgia apple season and support local producers, Georgia Grown — a division of the Georgia Department of Agriculture — has released the Official 2025 Apple Orchards Map, a guide to orchards across the state offering pick-your-own opportunities.
