Southeast Georgia Health System Presents BEE Award to Keeshla Stollings

Staff Report From Georgia CEO

Thursday, December 11th, 2025

Southeast Georgia Health System is proud to announce Keeshla Stollings as the latest recipient of the BEE Award, recognizing team members who go Beyond Exceptional Expectations (BEE) in their service to patients, families and fellow staff members.

Stollings, a medical support assistant with Southeast Georgia Physician Associates-Obstetrics & Gynecology in St. Marys, was celebrated for her compassion, empathy and unwavering support that left a lasting impact on patients and their families.

Her nomination reads, “At our OB/GYN clinic, we are privileged to witness some of life’s most joyful milestones. Welcoming new life into the world is a profound honor—and often brings with it moments of deep gratitude from the families we serve.”

Earlier this year, Stollings went above and beyond for two young mothers facing profound challenges during their prenatal and delivery journeys. Both mothers specifically requested her to be by their side during labor and delivery, a true testament to the trust and emotional bond she had built with them over time.

Even after her shifts ended, Stollings chose to stay by their side, offering strength, kindness and heartfelt encouragement during difficult moments. Her compassion extended not only to the mothers but also to their families, providing reassurance and comfort when it was needed most.

Her gentle spirit, selflessness and dedication embody the essence of patient-centered care. She reminds us all of the profound impact empathy and human connection have in medicine.

Stollings was presented with a BEE Award plaque and certificate in front of her peers and Health System leadership. She also received a BEE pin, balloons and honey danishes to share with her team.

Those eligible for the BEE Award include all Health System team members and volunteers except nurses (RNs and LPNs may receive the DAISY Award). These team members provide extraordinary experiences for Health System patients, their families and visitors by exemplifying quality service and care.

Nominations for the BEE Award may be submitted online at sghs.org/bee-award or placed in BEE boxes located throughout the Health System’s Brunswick and Camden campuses. A committee of team members reviews all submissions and selects each honoree.
