Southeast Georgia Health System is pleased to welcome two new providers who bring strong clinical training, compassion and a commitment to high-quality patient care to the region.

Maci Middleton, FNP-C, earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration from Valdosta State University. She completed clinical training across primary care, women’s health and cardiology, including hands-on experience within Southeast Georgia Health System.

Bringing a strong focus on cardiovascular health promotion, disease prevention, and patient education, Middleton also has experience as a registered nurse in a post-anesthesia care unit, where she provided care to both adult and pediatric patients. She is passionate about empowering patients through education and preventive strategies that support long-term heart health.

Logan Trapnell, PA-C, earned a Bachelor of Nutritional Science from the University of Georgia and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Augusta University. Her clinical training included rotations in orthopaedics, emergency medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics and surgery, with orthopaedic experience at the Bone and Joint Institute of South Georgia and Southeast Georgia Health System.

Trapnell has a strong interest in musculoskeletal care and sports medicine and is dedicated to helping patients recover, restore function and return safely to active lifestyles.
