AT&T and Compudopt provided Coastal Outreach Soccer 100 refurbished laptops today to distribute to Brunswick students and families.

The computers, funded by an AT&T investment, were given to Coastal Outreach Soccer to distribute to Brunswick students and families.

“Coastal Outreach Soccer is about empowering youth with the tools they need to succeed on and off the field. Through this laptop distribution, AT&T is helping us accomplish that mission,” said Odis Muhammad, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Coastal Outreach Soccer. “For many of the families we serve, having a laptop at home can open the door to resources and learning opportunities that may otherwise be out of reach. We appreciate AT&T for investing in the lives of local students and families.”

“Access to a reliable device at home can make a real difference in how our students engage with their education. These laptops give students another way to access learning resources, stay connected and build the digital skills that will serve them well in school and beyond,” said Michele Seals, Chief of Staff, Glynn County Schools. “We appreciate AT&T and Coastal Outreach Soccer for helping extend those opportunities to more Glynn County students.”

“From academic resources to career preparation and community engagement, technology has become central to everyday life. Through this collaboration, AT&T and Coastal Outreach Soccer are providing Brunswick students the digital tools to learn, grow and shape their futures,” said Lance Sabbe, Mayor Pro Tem, City of Brunswick.

This effort is part of AT&T’s initiative to help address the digital divide through internet accessibility, affordability and safe adoption. AT&T is committing $5 billion to help 25 million people get and stay connected to high-speed internet by 2030.

“At AT&T, we believe connectivity can open doors to greater opportunity for individuals, families and communities. We’re proud to continue investing in Glynn County by working alongside Coastal Outreach Soccer, whose work helps local students thrive on the athletic field and in the classroom,” said Gary Sanchez, Regional Director of External Affairs, AT&T Georgia. “Through this collaboration, we are providing Brunswick students and families with access to the technology and digital tools needed in today’s digital world. Together, we are connecting more Georgians to greater possibility.”
