The Georgia Municipal Association (GMA) will host its annual Charity Golf Tournament on Friday, Oct. 23 at City Club Marietta in Marietta, GA, bringing together Georgia’s municipal leaders, business partners and friends of Georgia’s cities for a day of golf and fellowship while supporting GeorgiaForward.

Proceeds from the tournament will benefit GeorgiaForward, a nonprofit organization that brings Georgians together to identify and advance solutions to the state’s most pressing challenges. Through programs that connect leaders, communities and ideas, GeorgiaForward works to strengthen communities and help build a better future for all Georgians.

“We’re excited to bring our members and partners together for a great day on the course while supporting the important work of GeorgiaForward,” said Larry Hanson, GMA CEO and Executive Director. “The tournament is a great opportunity to build relationships, have some fun and make an impact beyond the golf course.”

The tournament offers opportunities for individuals and teams to participate, as well as sponsorship opportunities for organizations and businesses interested in supporting the event and GeorgiaForward’s work.

“We are grateful to GMA and the many municipal leaders and partners who will come together through this tournament to support GeorgiaForward,” said Sadie Krawczyk, Managing Director of GeorgiaForward. “The funds raised through this event help us continue bringing leaders and communities together to develop the next generation of leaders, build connections that last and create meaningful solutions for statewide challenges. We’re excited to see everyone on the course and appreciate the support that makes this work possible.”

The GMA Golf Tournament is part of GMA’s ongoing commitment to supporting the communities and organizations that help strengthen Georgia. Funds raised through the tournament will support GeorgiaForward’s efforts to engage leaders and communities in creating meaningful solutions for Georgia.
