Southeast Georgia Health System is inviting community members to make a lifesaving difference by donating blood at its upcoming October blood drive located on the Brunswick Campus.

In partnership with LifeSouth Community Blood Centers, Southeast Georgia Health System will host a blood drive on Thursday, Oct. 22, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Brunswick Campus. The LifeSouth Mobile Unit will be located at the corner of Parkwood Drive and Kemble Avenue.

Half of the units collected during the blood drive will be donated directly to Southeast Georgia Health System to help care for patients in the local community. A single blood donation can help save up to three lives.

As a thank-you, donors will receive a $20 e-gift card, T-shirt and free cholesterol screening.
