Snapshot of Gen Z – Entry-Level Employees
Gen Z is most motivated to leave a job due to a lack of business generosity—whether it be a lack of generosity to employees (62%), to the community (52%), or in the way a business operates (51%).
Additionally, a shocking 83% report burnout the in the workplace, with nearly a third completely burnt out or managing high levels of burnout that directly affect their work.

What’s important to note is that more than any other generation, Millennials say a generous workplace is extremely important (49%). Additionally, Millennials seek empathy from their superiors, recognition for the work they are doing, and support for this busy stage of life.

Empathy and flexibility are most important. They are seeking managers who care about them as people and are 10 points more likely to value flexibility.

Gen X is most interested in being respected and appreciated for the work they have done and are less concerned with the inner workings of the office.
Other key priorities include:

They are less likely to be burnt out (only 38%) and less likely to be phased by politics (63% think it will have no impact on company culture).

They remain willing to walk away when generosity is neglected. 51% have left jobs due to a lack of generosity.
