Colleton River Club Announces Sherri Satterfield as the Director of People and Culture

Colleton River Club, the Lowcountry’s premiere waterfront gated golf community, has named Sherri Satterfield as the Director of People and Culture. With the addition of Sherri’s new role, Colleton River Club is proud to bring the Club’s human resources management in house. In this new role, she will set and execute the club’s human resources strategy including talent acquisition, succession planning, organizational development, employee and labor relations, compensation and employee engagement.  

Sherri has a wealth of human resources knowledge and extensive experience in total rewards, performance management, succession planning, risk management, compliance, learning and development, talent acquisition and employee relations. With over 20 years in the industry, she has served in an HR capacity for an array of companies and entities. Most recently, she served as the VP of HR for Wingate University, prior to that she was the VP of HR for Bakkavor Foods USA. In addition she has also worked in an HR role for the following companies: Samsung Electronics Home Appliances America, LLC; Coats, LLC ; Wastequip,LLC; Muzak, LLC; and Centex/Balfour Beatty. Sherri received her Master’s Degree in Human Resource Development from Clemson University and her Bachelor of Business Administration from Montreat College. She is also certified in the following areas: Development Dimensions International, Center for Creative Leadership and Benchmarks and Predictive Index.
